These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ClipboardPush, including the Windows client, Android app, and the public relay server at clipboardpush.com. By downloading or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1 Use of the Service

ClipboardPush is a tool for personal, lawful clipboard synchronization between your own devices. You may use the service free of charge subject to these Terms. You agree to:

• •Use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• •Not transmit content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.
• •Not attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or interfere with the relay server infrastructure.
• •Not use the service to distribute malware, spam, or unauthorized commercial content.

2 No Account Required

ClipboardPush does not require you to create an account or provide personal information. Access to the public relay server is provided via a Room ID of your choosing. You are responsible for keeping your Room ID and optional encryption key private. Anyone who knows your Room ID can join your room.

3 Your Content

You retain full ownership of any content (text, files, images) that you sync through the service. By using the service you represent that you have the right to transmit that content. We do not claim any rights over your content.

When end-to-end encryption is enabled, your content is encrypted on your device and we cannot read it. Unencrypted content that passes through the public relay server is not stored persistently and is only held in memory for the duration of the active session.

4 Service Availability

The public relay server is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of uptime or performance. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.

For guaranteed availability, you are encouraged to self-host the relay server. The server software is open source and can be run on any server or VPS.

5 Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClipboardPush is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities.

6 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months (which, for the free service, is zero).

7 Intellectual Property

The ClipboardPush client applications and relay server software are open source. The name "ClipboardPush", the logo, and the website design are the property of the ClipboardPush project. You may not use our name or branding to misrepresent your own products or services.

8 Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully to understand how we handle data.

9 Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
